I began my training in counselling at Birkbeck University before going on to study Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the Guild of Psychotherapists in London, a leading UK institution for psychoanalytic psychotherapy. I have served as a trustee for the Guild of Psychotherapists, where I currently work as an honorary psychotherapist in their low cost clinic.
I hold degrees in Psychology, Educational Studies, and Political Theology. I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and work in line with its ethical code. I remain committed to ongoing professional development, regularly updating my skills to ensure I offer the highest standard of care.
I am compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental. As a mature practitioner, I bring both professional training and life experience to my work, with an understanding of how difficult life can be. I work collaboratively, encouraging you to set the pace and direction as we explore your inner world. Therapy with me is tailored to you, because every indiviual is unique.
Member of the Guild of Psychotherapists, Ba (Hons), MA, PGCE, BACP (Registered)
I bring to my therapeutic work a breadth of life and professional experience that cannot be reduced to a single thread. As a mature practitioner, I have developed a reflective and grounded approach shaped by a prior career in education and meaningful work with refugee communities, where I encountered the complexities of displacement, identity, and resilience. I currently serve as an Honorary Psychotherapist at the Guild of Psychotherapists’ Low Cost Clinic, where I continue to deepen my clinical practice within a rigorous psychoanalytic framework. This combination of lived experience, professional commitment, and ongoing training underpins my capacity to offer thoughtful, ethically grounded, and psychologically informed support.
